An individual is said to be Manglik if the planet Mars (Mangal) is positioned on their horoscope's 1st, 4th, 7th, 8th, or 12th house. A Manglik Dosha refers to a person who has Mars placed on any of the houses mentioned earlier. The marriage between a Manglik and a Non-Manglik can cause potential marital challenges and conflict. A Manglik Pujan is a sacred Vedic ritual performed to mitigate the malefic effects of Mangal Dosha (Manglik Dosha). Ritual Steps for the Puja
The Manglik Puja is commenced by invoking Lord Ganesha to remove obstacles. Chant the Mars Beej Mantra - Om Kraam Kreem Kroum Sah Bhaumaya Namah. Also, chant the Magal Nivaran Mantra a total of a hundred and eight (108) times. When the priest signals, present offerings to appease Mars.
Conducting Havan (Fire Ritual)
Conclude the puja by conducting a havan and offering ghee, red sandalwood, and other sacred items into the fire while chanting Mars-specific mantras.
